A deep clean goes beyond the surfaces addressed during regular maintenance visits. It allows more time to work through buildup, edges, fixtures, detailed areas and tasks that may not have been completed recently.

A deep clean may be appropriate when:

• The home has not been professionally cleaned recently

• Regular household cleaning has fallen behind

• You are preparing for guests or an important occasion

• The home needs a seasonal reset

• Dust and buildup have accumulated in detailed areas

• Kitchens or bathrooms require additional attention

• You are preparing to begin recurring cleaning

• Certain rooms need a focused, top-to-bottom service

Every home is different. Black Haven creates the service plan around the home’s condition, your priorities and the cleaning time approved.

WHAT DEEP CLEANING MAY INCLUDE

Kitchen

Depending on the approved scope:

• Cleaning counter-tops and back-splashes

• Removing ordinary grease and buildup

• Wiping cupboard and drawer fronts

Heavy mineral buildup or damaged finishes may require additional time.

CLEANING BASED ON YOUR PRIORITIES

A four-hour booking provides four cleaning hours. It does not guarantee that every deep-cleaning task throughout the entire home can be completed within the minimum appointment.

Before the service, you can identify:

• Your highest-priority rooms

• Specific areas of concern

• Tasks that have not been completed recently

• Areas you would like addressed only if time permits

• Your maximum approved cleaning time or budget

The cleaner works through the approved priorities in order. If more work remains when the booked time is reached, you can decide whether to approve additional time or schedule another visit.

OPTIONAL ADD-ONS

Additional services can be requested when applicable, including:

• Oven interior cleaning

• Refrigerator interior cleaning

• Freezer interior cleaning

• Dishwasher interior cleaning

• Range hood cleaning

• Small-appliance cleaning

• Washing-machine cleaning

• Interior windows and glass

• Additional detailed rooms or surfaces

Add-ons require additional cleaning time. Please include them in your Service Request so Black Haven can account for them when reviewing the appointment.

PRICING AND MINIMUM BOOKING

Deep cleaning is billed at $50 per cleaning hour, per cleaner, with a four-hour or $200 minimum.

A cleaning hour represents one hour of work completed by one cleaner. For example, two cleaners working for two hours equals four cleaning hours.

The total time required depends on:

• Size and layout of the home

• Number of kitchens and bathrooms

• Current property condition

• Amount of accumulated buildup

• Number of occupants and pets

• Accessibility of the requested areas

• Selected add-ons

• Requested level of detail

Custom quotes are available for larger homes, extensive cleaning lists or properties requiring a full-home service within a specific time-frame/budget.

DEEP, RECURRING OR RESTORATION CLEANING?

Deep Cleaning

Best for homes that need additional time and detail beyond regular maintenance cleaning. Deep cleaning has a four-hour or $200 minimum.

Recurring Residential Cleaning

Best for maintaining a home after an initial reset has been completed. Recurring service follows an agreed cleaning plan and uses rotational cleaning to address detailed areas over time.

Specialty and Restoration Cleaning

Best for properties affected by severe buildup, long-term neglect, nicotine residue, extensive pet-related conditions or other contamination requiring a more intensive process.

Restoration cleaning is billed at $100 per cleaning hour and requires a custom assessment.

If the property information indicates that another service is more appropriate, Black Haven will explain the recommended option before confirming the appointment.

HOW THE BOOKING PROCESS WORKS

1. Submit Your Service Request

Tell us about the home, its current condition, your priority areas and any requested add-ons.

2. Provide Helpful Photographs

Photographs of kitchens, bathrooms, floors and areas of concern help us understand the scope and recommend a realistic amount of cleaning time.

3. Review the Service Plan

Black Haven reviews your information and may ask additional questions before recommending the service length, priorities and applicable minimum.

4. Approve the Scope

Confirm the cleaning priorities, approved time and any selected add-ons.

5. Receive Appointment Confirmation

The appointment is reserved only after Black Haven has reviewed and confirmed the service request.

6. Receive Your Service Report

After the appointment, you receive a professional report summarizing what was completed, what was observed and which areas may benefit from additional or rotational cleaning.

PREPARING FOR YOUR DEEP CLEAN

For the best use of the scheduled cleaning time:

• Put away personal belongings from requested cleaning surfaces.

• Remove excessive clutter from priority areas.

• Ensure sinks, tubs and counter-tops are reasonably accessible.

• Identify delicate, damaged or speciality surfaces.

• Secure pets according to the agreed service instructions.

• Provide confirmed property-access information.

• List your priorities in order of importance.

• Tell us about any add-ons before the appointment.

We do not expect you to clean before the cleaner arrives. Preparing access simply allows more of the booked time to be spent on detailed cleaning.

Does a four-hour booking cover my entire home?

Not necessarily. Coverage depends on the home’s size, condition and requested level of detail. The four-hour booking is the service minimum, not a guaranteed full-home completion time.

Can I choose which rooms are cleaned first?

Yes. We encourage clients to identify their highest-priority areas so the booked time is used where it matters most.

Can I set a maximum budget?

Yes. Black Haven can work within an approved maximum cleaning time or budget. Tasks will be completed in priority order, but the entire requested list may not be completed within a restricted time-frame.

Can I add more time during the appointment?

Additional time may be approved if scheduling permits. It is better to request sufficient time in advance when possible.

Are appliance interiors included?

Interior appliance cleaning must be requested as an add-on so the necessary time can be included in the service plan.

Do I need to supply cleaning products or equipment?

No. The assigned cleaning professional arrives with the approved products, tools and equipment required for the confirmed service.

Can I begin recurring cleaning after the deep clean?

Yes. A deep clean can establish a cleaner starting point before recurring maintenance begins. Black Haven can then create a regular cleaning plan based on your home and preferred schedule.

Does submitting a request confirm the appointment?

No. Submitting a Service Request places your request in our review queue. The appointment is confirmed only after Black Haven reviews the information, approves the scope and provides confirmation.
